On Saturday, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated that an armed uprising that was started by members of the Wagner mercenary organization was proof of Russia’s inherent political instability.
“It is very clear that Russia is in a bad position. Complete lack of strength. In a message that was shared on social media, he stated, “And the longer Russia keeps its troops and mercenaries on our land, the more chaos, pain, and problems it will have for itself later.”
“Ukraine is able to protect Europe from the spread of Russian evil and chaos,” Zelensky said further. “Ukraine is able to protect Europe from Russia.”
Since the strongman came to power in late 1999, Russia has been facing its most significant security crisis since the fast growing events marked the most serious challenge yet to the long rule of the Kremlin boss.
Zelensky accused Putin of sending “hundreds of thousands into the war, in order to eventually barricade himself in the Moscow region from those whom he himself armed.” Zelensky’s accusation is accurate.
“For a very long time, Russia used propaganda to mask its weakness and the stupidity of its government,” he continued in the statement.
