According to Ukraine’s interior ministry, on Saturday, eight individuals lost their lives and thirteen others were injured in Lyman, located in eastern Ukraine. The town was targeted by Russian rocket fire.

According to the report, a residential building, an annex to a printing house, and three cars were set on fire during the attack.
According to Pavlo Kyrylenko, the governor of the Donetsk region where Lyman is situated, he mentioned that the town was hit by the Russians using multiple rocket launchers at approximately 10:00 am.
In October, the Ukrainian army managed to recapture Lyman, a significant rail hub, after it had been initially captured by Russian forces.
This week, Ukraine has reported that there have been offensive operations by Russia in the area.
According to an emergency services official quoted by the TASS news agency, two civilians were reportedly killed by Ukrainian fire overnight in the town of Oleshky, which is under Russian control in southern Ukraine.
