The technology company Nothing, located in London, has developed a new software that gives users the ability to create their own “visual ringtones.” Glyph is the name of the program that will enable users of the Phone (1) as well as the impending Phone (2) to create a ringtone that not only serves as a soundtrack but also correlates to LED lights located on the back of the phone.
Those who are in the mood for some creative expression have the option of either composing their own ringtone or selecting one from a variety of pre-recorded melodies from the Swedish House Mafia. The electronic dance music band Nothing worked together to create a unique sound pack consisting of new music that was mixed by Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso.
“We are excited to have collaborated with the Nothing team in London to launch a smartphone innovation that brings the worlds of music and technology ever closer together,” Swedish House Mafia stated. “This brings the worlds of music and technology ever closer to each other.” “Since the beginning, the three of us have been devoted followers of Carl Pei and Nothing’s vision, and we are very honored to be the pioneering creatives behind the first Glyph Composer sound pack to be released into the world. We can’t wait to see and hear what our followers and other users of Nothing come up with in the way of a remix.
On July 11, the formal release of the Glyph Composer will occur simultaneously with the release of the Phone (2). During the entire summer of 2023, the Swedish House Mafia sound bundle will be available for purchase.
